Rules

General Rules

 

  1. Use common sense.
  2. If you find yourself using a "loophole" in the rules to your advantage, it is likely you are breaking at least one other rule.
  3. No politics, harassment, sexism, racism, discrimination, bigotry, porn, NSFW content, malicious behavior, etc.
  4. Crossfire is counted as RDM.
  5. Spawn is a neutral zone; there's no active roleplay or building allowed.
  6. Running into spawn to avoid any roleplay situation is considered FailRP.
  7. No class can /advert murder or /advert counter.
  8. No propspam, propminge, propsurf, propclimb, propblock, bodyblock etc.
  9. Do not FailRP and/or FearRP.
    *FearRP is doing something roleplay wise out of fear. (e.g. someone is pointing a gun at you, you are not allowed to take out a weapon or run away). *FailRP is doing something against the rules or your job rules/description.
  10. Voice-changers aren't allowed.
  11. No mass RPbinds, all binds must specify one action, you cannot bind test too.
  12. Only Kidnappers can kidnap, no other class can. (Exceptions may apply for custom jobs)
  13. Self supplying weapons by spawning as a job with a desired weapon and dropping it is considered FailRP.
  14. Do not bait and or scam players. (In-game, Donation wise)
  15. Do Not metagame. (Using out of character info to benefit you in-game)
  16. Warnings have to be spaced 5 seconds apart, and you must do a minimum of 3 warnings prior to taking action. (Exceptions may apply)
  17. If you have a custom job, and have it in your description that you can role play as PD. You must put "PD" in front of your JOB name. (Must advert that you are now PD as well)
  18. Do not steal, move, or pocket somebody's tip jar.
  19. Do not use entities to kill or destroy the property of players  *Printers etc*
  20. You must have permission to assist raids or any criminal activity before you do so. Just because you know someone doesn't make it alright to tag along and assist.
  21. Do not spam cameras, buttons, doors, chat, etc.
  22. Climb Swep punches are KOS after 2 warnings. (3 sec in between each) (Continuing to Climb Swep punch is Failrp).
  23. The Court-Yard being once you exit the gate leading from the prison to it.
  24. You cannot block off and or obstruct any major walkway (tollbooth base etc) this is punishable with failure.
  25. Mic Spamming will not be tolerated and you will be punished. (Playing music through your mic is considered mic spam.)
  26. You cannot profit off of the server (i.e. Charging people to be on your custom class, selling in-game money for IRL money, etc..)
  27. There is to be no time farming players or staff afk'ing longer than 45 mins will be kicked
  28. Targetting players in any way is failRP
  29. No moving/destroying Radios/Gun Shops
  30. Spamming Infinite Ammo excessively is not allowed.
  31. PD may not extend kos lines, or add kos rules to PD areas.
  32. No Radios in public(Hobo's, and Gun Dealers are exempted.)
  33. If taxes exceed more than 30 percent, you may KOS the warden (Criminal jobs only).
  34. Only fight Managers can host fight clubs. (Exception of CCs with fight manager)
  35. Lights cannot be brighter than 3, and cannot have a radius more than 500
  36. Miners and Trashmen are NOT able to be kidnapped.
  37. If a Defender destroys valuables during a raid is FailRP. (Destroying printers etc...)
  38. Driving the Lawn Mower inside the prison is FailRP
  39. Physgunning the Lawn Mower props/throwing them is prop minge
  40. Throwing harpoons through walls IS considered exploiting and IS bannable
  41. Spamming vapes and/or SWEPS is considered FailRP. (Angry Hobo SWEP / Dog SWEP and Climb SWEP)
  42. Impersonating a staff member is not allowed and is punishable. 
  43. You may NOT steal lawnmowers
  44. You may not use Disguise SWEP to impersonate staff members, doing so will result in a warning or kick.

Basing Rules

  1. Individuals or groups may own one building and must own every door in that building; if a situation occurs where more than one person owns doors in a building, whoever owns the "front-doors" gains ownership of the building.* 
  2. Your base has to be clear and concise.
    • No collided props, invisible props, One-way props of any kind not allowed. glow/flickering material(You may have no collide props if you are a Hobo w/out contraband*
    • You cannot force players to crouch, jump, or climb into your base (This includes world ladders).*
    • You may only shoot out of shooting windows, not one-way props. *
    • Only use materials that are easy on the eyes or transparent. Be fair or don't use them at all. *
    • No traps, or mazes. This includes designs inhibiting the use of a fading door bomb (Floor falling out from under raiders, ramp only accessible with keypad cracker).*
    • No builds that inhibit players walking/running speed. *
  3. No roof bases unless it is accessible.*
  4. You may have a KOS line + sign outside the entrance of your base. It must be noticeable. No tiny letters or hard to see colors. (Keep KOS reasons reasonable. no KOS **** cause I don't like him, etc)*
  5. You cannot kill someone for having a weapon out far from your base the weapons out only exitst near your kos line.
  6. You cannot have a KOS line with your base if there is nothing of value inside(exceptions: Gun Dealers)
  7. You may only have four fading doors TOTAL per base.*
    • You can have one keypad/button to open a fading door and one on the opposing side to get out. Minimum 8 seconds opening time and no delay allowed.*
    • You may not have fake/hidden keypads/buttons. Keypads/buttons must be placed next to the prop they open.*
    • Must be a solid prop that disappears completely when open.*
  8. Shooting windows must be on the same level for both parties showing shoulders and above. The window must be controlled by a button or keypad. (NO HEIGHT ADVANTAGE) *
    • Must be a solid prop that has a transparent material which disappears completely when open
  9. You may not build while being raided
  10. No mega-basing / bases that extend unnecessarily past your sidewalk, upwards and/or use 2 players props to bypass prop limit. (Exceptions apply see below)
  11. Gangs (Bloods, Crips) May take over cellblocks, this includes the two small cell blocks, showers, cafeteria, and isolation.
  12. Only gun dealers can build in the gun shops.
  13. You cannot base in the vents, even with build anywhere.
  14. Build anywhere and Gangs are allowed to base in the Shower & Cafeteria
  15. Crips and Bloods may not extend their bases past their cellblocks. (Must build within them.)
  16. Between fading doors, they must be able to fit 2 or more players minimum shoulder to shoulder or side to side.
  17. Text screens must be font size 40 plus.
  18. ONLY Fight manager can build in the fight arena.
  19. Prison hobos cannot block off bases and cannot be too large
  20. If the owner or co-owner of a base places SLAMS on their base and it kills players near the base, it cannot be considered RDM, for it is a defensive measure triggered by offenders
  21. In order to have a KOS sign one must have valuables such as printers and or weed (EMP resistors are excluded)
  22. Doors must be visible to the raiders so they can visibly tell who is allowed to defend the base from said raiders.
  23. CC's that can build anywhere must list the people who are living with them on a sign.

  24. Gun Dealers gun shops may not be in narrow hallways that prevent roleplay such as the spawn hallway.

Escaping/Break in Rules

Escaping Rules

  1. You must /advert escape before killing guards on sight and before you cross any KOS lines. You must also /advert escape prior to climbing the courtyard walls.
  2. There is a 15-minute cooldown in between each advert.
  3. Once adverted you have to actively escape (Do not wait for more guards to come so you can kill them).
  4. Escape and escape assist are on the same cooldown!

Break-in Rules

  1. You must /advert Break-in before killing any guards.
  2. There is a 15-minute cooldown in between each advert.
  3. Once adverted you have to actively Break-in.
  4. Break-in and break-in assist are on the same cooldown!

Hit, Kidnap, Mugging, and Pick-Pocketing rules.

Hit Rules

  • Do not advert Hits accepted/completed.
  • Do not repeatedly target players. Try to roleplay things out!  
  • Random hits are allowed.
  • If you were the victim of a hit, you may return to where you were killed, but may not enact revenge kill.

Kidnap Rules

  • Give a advert chat message that the player is being kidnapped.
  • You may kidnap one player per 8 minutes and can hold them hostage for 15 minutes.
  • You must wait 20 minutes before kidnapping the same player again.
  • You must follow the kidnapper's demands, and do what they say; however role-playing out the situation in your own way is okay too.
  • The maximum ransom is $50,000.
  • Do not attach players to props, high walls, or ceilings.
  • Do not bring PD outside after they are kidnapped.
  • Do not bring any civilians inside the prison after they are kidnapped.
  • If you manage to free yourself/get freed by someone else you may try and kill your kidnapper(s).
  • Hitting people in the back with the baton randomley is FailRP
  • Knocking someone out and throwing them inside someones base is FailRP.

Mugging Rules

  • Give a advert chat message that the player is being mugged, with a maximum amount of 10k
  • You may mug one player per 10 minutes, and you must give that player 10 seconds minimum to drop the money.
  • You can't mug someone with a gun out (FailRP)
  • You can't pull a gun while getting mugged (FearRP)
  • You must let the player go if they comply with your demands and give you the money.
  • You may not revenge-kill a player after you have been mugged, but you can report them to the police.
  • No mugging hobos, pets, and PD

Pick-Pocketing Rules

  • No pick-pocketing hobos, pets, or PD
  • No pick-pocketing players in spawn or that are AFK
  • You must /advert pickpocket cooldown is 5 minutes
  • If you are caught pickpocketing you are KOS to the person who is being pickpocketed.

  1. You cannot raid RP bases, hobos, medic stations, gun shops, etc. (If an RP base has contraband like, printers, bitcoin, etc, they are raidable)
  2. You must be on a building's property to initiate a raid, no long-range raiding (Do not raid from inside the base)
  3. No fading door abuse - you must use your keypad to enter your base during a raid.
  4. You cannot camp a base, get in and get out; nor may you raid a base which clearly has nothing of value. 
  5. You may only raid with your gang or base members.
  6. You and your party must wait 15 minutes to raid another base or 30 to raid the same one.
  7. Defenders who died may return after 5 minutes of death and then may KOS Raiders.
  8. During a raid, raiders must try to only harm those who own the doors to the base. 
  9. Raids may last up to 15 minutes, or until each member of the raiding party dies
  10. You may not raid bases that have a building sign.
  11. You cannot lockpick fading doors
  12. Calling Raid KOS All Near or any variation of wording is not allowed. You are only allowed to kill people that are part of the base, org members, or people interfering.
  13. Do not grenade spam.

PD/Tower Raids

PD Raids

  • Police department raids must be called from the outside of PD.
  • PD Raids may last up to 6 minutes, however, if you are a Prison Robber and your goal is to break into the armory and steal shipments, you have an additional 5 minutes to steal what you need. If PD is coming back and interfering with your raid, you may kill them. But, you can not leave the PD to kill other PD. 
  • Don't be hungry to kill PD, it's obvious.
  • There is a 30-minute universal cooldown on PD raids after someone already has. *If I raid PD and I'm done, nobody else can raid it for another 30 minutes*
  • Random people cannot join or assist your PD raid if it was not planned.
  • Only classes allowed to raid PD are as listed: Prison Robber, CC's that allow it, Rebel leader, Elite/non-Elite prison thief. (See specific class and PD raiding rules)

Tower Raids

  • Tower raids must be called from the outside of the Tower.
  • Tower Raids may last up to 10 minutes
  • Don't be hungry to kill PD, it's obvious.
  • There is a 30-minute universal cooldown on Tower raids after someone already has. *If I raid the tower and I'm done, nobody else can raid it for another 30 minutes*
  • Random people cannot join or assist your Tower raid if it was not planned.
  • Only classes allowed to raid Tower are as listed: Prison Robber, CC's that allow it, Rebel leader, Elite/non-Elite prison thief. (See specific class and Tower raiding rules)

Specific Job Rules

1. (Prison Assassin, Guard Assassin)

  • CANNOT Assassinate Guards. Guard Assassins CANNOT Assassinate Prisoners.

  • Assassination cooldown is 15 minutes.

  • Prison Assassins may raid bases but may NOT raid PD {Raiding rules apply} 

2. (Prison Sewer Kitty)

  • Can build roleplay homes such as shelters but cannot own doors.

  • Cannot raid, mug, or use any weapons

  • Cannot base

  • can be owned (do /job persons pet)

  • Can attack anyone in the sewers to protect your turf.

3. (Warden, Warden's Daughter)

  • May only use Knives, Pistols, SMGs, and ARs.

  • Cannot use Shotguns, Snipers, LMG's

4.  (Hobo/Hobo Leader)

  • Hobo Leaders may use ANY weapon for self-defense l Hobo's may use melee weapons only

  • Hobo's and Hobo leader are not allowed to have fading doors for their buildings (Ex. Hobo Headquarters)

  • Cannot have KOS signs

  • Cannot own doors

5. (Fight Club Manager)

  • Only the Fight Manager may build in the fight arena.

  • Cannot own doors/base

6. (Prisoner/Foreigners)

  • Prisoners and Foreigners are ONLY allowed to use the following weapons: Melee, Handguns.

  • Cannot base/own doors

  • Cannot use printers and bitminers

7. (Prison Pet)

  • Can build roleplay homes such as shelters but cannot own doors/base.

  • Cannot randomly bite people.

  • Can raid, mug, and escape (ONLY IF YOU HAVE A OWNER!) (Must advert assist)

  • You may attack people who hurt your owner.

  • Put your owners name in front of your job name (/job) (ex. /job Rexxors Pet)

Citizen Rules

1. Trashmen

  • May enter CO only areas purely to conduct their cleaning business and nothing more.
  • May exit the prison to clean trash outside.
  • May use weapons but only in self-defense.
  • You cannot raid or mug
  • Stealing other's trash money is not allowed.

2. Moonshine Distiller, Fuel Refiner

  • May leave the Prison
  • Cannot Raid or Mug
  • Guards may let them out

3. Prison Medic, Lawnmower Man

  • Cannot Raid, Mug, or Escape
  • May only use weapons for self-defense

4. Prison Miner

  • Cannot Raid, Mug, or Escape
  • May only use weapons for self-defense
  • AFK Farming is not allowed. It can result in a kick, ban, and or your money being reset depending on the number of times you've committed the offense and the severity of it.
  • Miners can only build in the mines as long as it doesn't block any ores. (megabase is not allowed). Miners cannot own doors, bitcoin machines, printers, etc.

5. Prison Smoothie Guru

  • Cannot Raid, Mug, Or Escape
  • Cannot be raided
  • Cannot base (May own doors for shop)
  • May build anywhere in the prison (See Hobo building rules)
  • May use weapons only for self-defense 

Gang Rules

1. The max amount of money that you can charge someone for basing in your territory is 100k

2. You MUST have a sign indicating you are occupying the territory you are in order to charge people for basing in your area. Your gang must control the flag BEFORE you can charge people for basing. (Max is 1 area per gang that can charge people)

3. If you are a PD JOB, you MAY kill the gang member trying to escape/assassinate/mug/kidnap ETC.

4. You cannot mug, kidnap, raid, OR pickpocket a gang member in your gang.

5.  You and your gang must Advert “Area takeover” to take over an area/flag. Cooldown is 10 minutes.

6. If you accidentally kill a gang member in your own gang, it is still considered RDM if that person reports you.

7. The gang leader has the final say and can do what he wants to his gang. This includes making Ranks, Rules, and kicking people. (Must follow all the other rules in the MOTD)

8.  You may not use the BLOODS/CRIPS cell blocks unless you are a blood or crip. HOWEVER, you may still capture the flags in the cellblocks

9. You may defend Gang members from other players if they are being attacked

10. If a rival gang member is attempting to take over your territory, they are KOS.

11. If a gang member has died during an "Area takeover" the defender who died must wait 5 minutes before returning back to the flag/territory. 

12. If a player takes a flag without Advert it is considered FailRP.

13. If a gang owns a base that is on a flag you must advert raid and take over if you intend to take the flag.

14. PD and Citizens may not take over flags or areas. 

15. Before taking over a flag, you must eliminate all enemy gang members.

16. When war is declared between two rival gangs they are allowed to KOS each other on sight. (It is RECOMMENDED wars are held outside of the prison to avoid crossfire) 

17. When you have an association with another gang it only means you are friendly towards one another. You CAN NOT defend gang members outside of your gang, even when you have an association.

18. You may only ally with 1 gang at a time.

19. If you are allied with another gang, you may not kill each other/Raid Eachothers base.

20. Taking over allied flags is not allowed and considered Fail RP.

21. When going to war with another gang, you may KOS any member in that gang. Gang Wars may only last up to 20 minutes.
22. Gang Wars cooldown is 2 hours for the gang leader.

Printer/Bitcoin Rules

  1. PD cannot own Printers and or Bitcoin (Applies to Warden and his Daughter)
  2. If non-VIP, you may not buy, sell, or use VIP printers (Unless you raided a base, and took the printer).
  3. Only classes that can raid may steal printers/bitcoin miners
  4. You must own a base to use Printers/Bitcoins.

Rioting Rules

  1. The only job that can call a riot is the Rebel Leader.
  2. In order to declare a riot, you must have 2 Rebels and 1 Rebel Leader. You all must /advert riot or /advert riot assist at the same time.
  3. Upon being killed, you must wait in spawn until the riot ends.
  4. A riot may last up to 1 minute.
  5. When the riot ends, the party must wait an additional 25 minutes before Rioting again.
  6. Rioters can ONLY kill prison staff, nobody else.

Lockdown Rules

  1. You must advert the reason for the lockdown before starting it.(If you don't, it is fail RP and you will be jailed)
  2. PD may arrest you without adverting during a lockdown.
  3. If a prisoner resists they must be warned twice via advert before they are KOS.
  4. Lockdowns may last up to 10 minutes with an hour cooldown.

Prison Staff Rules

  1. Team-Killing is strictly prohibited regardless of the reason.
  2. As Prison Staff, it is strictly prohibited to go outside of the prison (Prison Hunter Exempted)
  3. You must /advert Arrest before arresting a convict. (Kidnapping rules apply to both parties)
  4. As Prison Staff, it is forbidden to side with criminals (Corrupt Guard Exempted)
  5. It is considered FailRP to let prisoners outside of the prison(Corrupt Guard Exempted)
  6. You may block both exits to the prison but you must have a fading door + keycard scanner
  7. You may place up to 4 fading doors inside the PD
  8. You may place up to 4 fading doors inside the courtyard
  9. The PD basement is part of the PD
  10. Prison Staff are allowed to break NLR during PD Raids, Isolation Takeovers, and Escapes.
  11. You may warn people to put their guns away if they have them out in public, but you must /advert warn them to put it away( 2 warnings, 5 seconds apart before arresting)
  12. NLR applies to warrant raids.
  13. Captains order is final, the hierarchy of ranks is realistic.
  14. Any sort of crime, that is not yet gone violent or threatening, must be attempted to be arrested before using lethal force.
  15. If your CC is capable of working with PD you must have "PD" in your job title.
  16. PD may only prop block the catwalk to PD and the Basement PD.
  17. Warden may only request 1 execution from each Executioner every 5 minutes. (10 if the same prisoner)
  18. PD may use sound as a reason to raid 
  19. Each Rank has a unique set of rules/tasks. View job description.
  20. Random Weapon checking is NOT allowed. You must have a valid reason to weapon check someone. (Ex. Warrants, Lockdowns, Trespassing in CO areas)
  21. You must do /advert weapon check to weapon check someone.
  22. Pulling out a weapon and running away while being weapon checked is Fail RP.

Custom Job Rules

DDG Staff Rules

Staff Rules:

1. Common sense. Use your brain before doing things you might regret.

2. What a Super-Admin+ says is what they say and you must deal with it. They have the final say.

3. Punishments depending on what they did. Verbal Warn, Jail, Kick, Ban. If they are mass RDMING then simply just jail them and issue a 5-day ban. If you are a t-mod or moderator ask an admin to ban the steamID.

4. Do not kick for unreasonable reasons. ex: if someone crossfires 2 people then simply jail them for 4 minutes if it was an honest mistake.

5. Do NOT noclip while RPING (Unless dealing with a current sit). [1st offense suspension, 2nd offense demotion.]

6. NEVER duplicate someone's creation without their permission.

7. If you have god mode while in a raid/RP it is an instant demote.

8. Be sure you read all of the rules and you understand them.

9. Be a role model and act MATURE.

10. Never materialize yourself or others.

13. Never go on admin-mode (Unless taking sits) while rping (Instant Demote)

14. Always be patient during admin sits. We know people can drive you crazy but a good staff member would stay calm. (Do not call players any rude or disrespectful words no matter what they say!)

- For new players with 3 hours or less that break the rules and are about to get banned, instead of banning that player, simply warn/jail them for 2 minutes. (It's important that you guide that new player through the rules and make sure that they understand them) 

General Rules

  18. NLR (New life rule) is 3 minutes. Do not return to the place of death for that duration and you forget everything from your past life (including how you died and who killed you.)

  21. FearRP - Act as If you would in real life
  22. Players must always surrender to other players’ kidnaps or mugs.
  23. Players, or groups of players, may not be put under FearRP unless they are outnumbered by the opposing group.
  24. If your gun is on safety, you cannot put a player under FearRP.
    • This applies both ways. Other players with weapons on safety cannot be placed under FearRP.
  25. If Government has you under FearRP and goes to cuff you. (Puts gun away, pulls out cuffs and starts placing you in cuffs.) You may not attempt to harm or further evade that police officer. 
    • For Example: An officer has a suspect under FearRP and right when the officer pulls out cuffs to arrest the suspect, the suspect cannot pull out a gun or run away.
  26. Tow Truck and any service vehicles can not be stolen. Uber is an exception.
  27. Suicide/threatening to suicide is FailRP/CopBaiting if you Do NOT have a valid reason.
  28. You cannot take over places. If you raid a place, you must leave after you have accomplished your goal. Do NOT stay to prevent people from returning for an extended period of time.
  29. Nade spam is not allowed from either defending or attacking.
  30. You can only car jack every 10 minutes.
  31. Cannot set fire to PD and or the FD.

Adverting Rules

  • you must /advert raid of any kind. For example if you are pd, bank, jewlery store, regular raid, carjack. You must advert for everything now.
  • When Raiding Bank, you can take over the entire Bank Vault. However you may not leave the Vault at any time! When robbing a general store you must also stay inside the general store. You, or anyone involved, cannot leave.
  • You cannot close or lock the door of the vault when you are raiding it. The vault door must stay open at all times
  • You must /advert carjack
  • You cannot carjack vehicles that belong to a Car Dealer./
  • You can NOT raid PD. You may only raid it when a gang member is trapped and needs help escaping.
  • Once you have a reason to raid the PD like stated above, you may also tap into the vault if the correct job. (Pro Thief, Elite Thief)
  • You are NOT allowed to /advert false or /advert bind test
  • All committing parties in the crime or act must advert
  • If your gang was involved in committing a crime and a gang member is actively being arrested you may type /advert assist to assist that gang member, you must follow all rules with NLR and FailRP.
  • You must ALWAYS try to RP out the scenario first, do not just type /advert assist and start spraying PD, try to negotiate release of your family member with guns drawn on the officer.
  • If the attempt fails there is a 10 minute cool down for all gang members regardless if they were not present for the first attempt.

Main City Rules

  1. The City area around spawn must be driven at no more than 25 MPH. This is because it is hard to drive on GMOD, so when in populated areas we must enforce slow driving to drive down the chaos.
  2. If you have weapons out you are considered AOS. (Unless the Mayor states otherwise)
  3. Gangs cannot start conflicts inside the city. Do the gang wars in secluded areas, or atleast try too.
  4. Police are considered immune in the city, you are not allowed to kill them without a very good reason.
  5. As a pedestrain you must use the side walks, do not walk in the streets.

Government Rules

  • All Guns are illegal (except for pistols but they still can't be out in public)
  • No Taser rushing
  • Bit-miners can be made legal.
  • Spike Strips are only to be used by Police Sergeant + or equivalent
  • Cops are not allowed to accept bribes..
  • If someone is wanted (sign above a person’s head) you may AOS/KOS the person. In order to KOS you must warn the criminal at least 3 times to stop moving. If they comply, you must arrest them instead.
  • You may arrest criminals after they are revived if they were involved in a criminal situation (Maximum jail time is 8 years).
  • Government can not use EMP's while on duty!
  • Spike strips in traffic stops can only be used if (A) Suspect is wanted with deadly weapon or (B) Suspect was in a code red pursuit.
  • Giving Spike strips to citizens is FailRP.
  • Only Deputy and Police Chief+ Are allowed to use the UC Camaro.
  • Battering ramming is only meant if you have a warrant and or if there's a threat to yours or others safety.

  • If a suspect is fleeing you may use battering ram only IF needed.

  • Only jobs that are allowed to use the Camaro or UC cars is Deputy and Police chief+

Raiding Rules

  1. You CANNOT raid a base back to back this counts are targeting.
  2. No fading door abuse - you must use your keypad to enter your base during a raid.
  3. If raiding as a group they must be in the same Gang as you.
  4. During a raid you may only kill the defenders and any other players the interfer (Admin discretion)
  5. Do not prolong a raid (Admin discretion)
  6. You may not raid a base with a building sign.
  7. You may not raid a base that clearly has no valueables.
  8. You cannot lockpick fading doors.
  9. As a Raider or Defender you CANNOT come back to the raid after death.
  10. You may not raid a base that has been raided recently (10 minutes)

NLR/MetaGaming Rules

  1. You cannot use OOC character info to benefit you in-game
  2. If you are murdered you cannot call 911 a witness may.
  3. MetaGaming is not allowed when calling 911
  4. You cannot return to the site of you death to have revenge on your killer.
  5. Police cannot return to a site of crime after they have been killed (Raids etc)
  6. NLR (New Life Rule) if you die all information you know previously is wiped from your mind.

Mugging/Kidnapping Rules

  1. You may not target a player or group of players and constantly Mug/Kidnap them (Exepection is rival Gangs)
  2. All members of the PD are immune from Mugs/Kidnaps (Exepection below)
  3. The Mayor may be kidnapped and held for ransome but, may not be mugged.

Department Task and Duties

Police

  • Listen to your superiors
  • Corrupt cops are NOT allowed,
  • You may go off the "wanted sign" above the criminal's head (You may AOS/KOS the person) To KOS the person, you need to warn the person 3 times to stop moving, if they comply you have to arrest them (Actually RP it out)
  • Sergeant+ Can view bodycams via the phone app
  • Police Chief+ has access to the cities cameras to monitor them. 
  • During a Bank raid/hostage situation, you are to respond to the area code 3 and secure the roads to stop vehicles passing and wait for S.W.A.T to arrive on a scene and give orders.
  • You are NOT to deal with Bank Raids or Hostage Situations unless there is no S.W.A.T/ARU/SRT online.. (The Highest ranking officer on Scene takes control).ARU/SRT to stand down they must comply.
  • Any SUV/Truck that is in a pursuit can be declared lethal instantly. (Command does not need to approve)

)SWAT

  • You may Patrol as S.W.A.T but cannot perform traffic stops. You may only conduct traffic stops if you have seen the person with a weapon out.
  • You can call the pursuit to a stop and take over lead unit if the subject is declared Code Red or has Shot/Pulled a weapon at another Officer or Citizen
  • You can deal with Bank Raids and Hostage Situations, Jewlery store robberies, PD breaches.

 

FBI

  • FBI may do illegal things while undercover to gain criminals trust but may not murder, release from jail, or take drugs/Evidence.
  • Can examine bodies after death using the scientific tools
  • Find the killers responsible and bring them in

 

Secret Service:
The Duty of Secret Service is to protect and server the Mayor and or the FBI Director at any cost.

Fire Department:
The task of the South Side Fire Department is to respond to fires to put them out. They also respond to issues with EMS to assist them in their task.

EMS:
The task of EMS is to respond to 911 calls when requested and assist the citizens of South Side. They also respond to issues with the Fire Department to assist them.

Gang Rules

 

1.  You and your gang must Advert “Area takeover” to take over an area/flag. Cooldown is 10 minutes.

2. The gang leader has the final say and can do what he wants to his gang. This includes making Ranks, Rules, and kicking people. (Must follow all the other rules in the MOTD)

3. You may defend Gang members from other players if they are being attacked

4. If a rival gang member is attempting to take over your territory, they are KOS.

5. If a gang member has died during an "Area takeover" the defender who died must wait 5 minutes before returning back to the flag/territory. 

6. If a player takes a flag without Advert it is considered FailRP.

7. If a gang owns a base that is on a flag you must advert raid and take over if you intend to take the flag.

8. PD may not take over flags or areas. 

9. You are allowed to use props to defend your base.

10. Max members in a gang is 5 (NO EXCEPTIONS)

11. You may only ally with one other gang.

12. Can only hold up to 2 territories at once.

Weapon Classes

  • Class 1(Legal Weapons): Any pistols except for Deagles, Silenced Pistols, or  Revolver.
  • Class 2 (Illegal without gun license): Any Silenced weapon, Deagle, SMG’s or Semi-Automatic Rifles.
  • Class 3 (Illegal): Any Fully-Automatic Rifles & Shotguns.
  • Class 4 (Illegal): Snipers & LMG’s
  • Class 5 (Definitely 100% Always Illegal): Explosives

Basing Rules

  1. Individuals or groups may own one building and must own every door in that building; if a situation occurs where more than one person owns doors in a building, whoever owns the "front-doors" gains ownership of the building.
  2. Your base has to be clear and concise.
    • No collided props, invisible props,One way props of anykinds not allowed. glow/flickering material
    • You cannot force players to crouch, jump, or climb into your base
    • You may only shoot out of shooting windows, not one way props.
    • Only use materials that are easy on the eyes or transparent. Be fair or don�t use them at all.
    • No traps, or mazes. This includes designs inhibiting the use of a fading door bomb (Floor falling out from under raiders, ramp only accessible with keypad cracker).
    • No builds that inhibit players walking/running speed.
  3. No roof bases unless it is accessable.
  4. You may have a KOS line + sign outside the entrance of your base. It must be noticeable. No tiny letters or hard to see colors. (Keep KOS reasons reasonable)
  5. You may only have 6 fading doors TOTAL per base.
    • You can have one keypad/button to open a fading door and one on the opposing side to get out. Minimum 8 seconds opening time and no delay allowed.
    • You may not have fake/hidden keypads/buttons. Keypads/buttons must be placed next to the prop they open.
    • Must be a solid prop that disappears completely when open.
  6. Shooting windows must be on the same level for both parties showing shoulders and above. The window must be controlled by a button or keypad.
    • Must be a solid prop that has a transparent material which disappears completely when open
  7. You may not build while being raided
  8. Between fading doors they must be able to fit 2 or more players minimum.

Class Rules

CITIZENS

Note: All citizens are NOT allowed to raid, mug, kidnap, or steal unless says otherwise.

Bartender

  • Can charge an entry fee (Max 500 Bucks).
  • May only serve drinks at the bar.
  • Allowed to use: Knives, Handguns, Shotguns.

Uber Driver

  • May only charge up to 5K per ride
  • Allowed to use: Knives, Handguns.

Fruit Vendor

  • No Prop pushing of any kind with the Fruit Cart.
  • Only allowed to use handguns, knives.
  • Only allowed to build on the sidewalk.
  • May build on someone elses property with permission.

Camera Repairer

  • Only allowed to use handguns, knives.
  • May only charge up to 5K for camera repairs.
  • Not allowed to base.

Tow Truck Driver

  • Not allowed to tow police vehicles. (Unless requested)
  • May only tow vehicles that are breaking traffic laws. (Ex. Parking on a red line)
  • No dragging vehicles around on hook.
  • Can park in the PD only garage if needed.
  • Only allowed to use handguns, knives.

Motel Owner/ Receptionist

  • May only charge up to 5k Per room.
  • Allowed to base at Motel.
  • No KOS signs.
  • May only use handguns, and knives.

Private Security

  • May protect anyone for the right price.
  • Allowed to base with employer.
  • May only raid, mug, kidnap with an employer.
  • Allowed to use: Knives, handguns, SMG's.

Car Dealer

  • No joyrides with cars unless testing with a customer.
  • Only allowed to use handgun, and knives.
  • Can build anywhere on the property.
  • NO fading doors.

Vendor

  • May only set up vending machines on sidewalks, or inside business's if allowed.
  • NOT allowed to steal or harrass other Vending machines.
  • NO prop pushing or flying of any sort.
  • Only allowed to use handguns, and knives.

Gun Dealer and Black market dealer

  • May set up vending machines anywhere
  • NO prop pushing or flying of any sort
  • May not use vending machines for personal reasons

Prostitute

  • NOT allowed to mug, kidnap, raid.
  • Allowed to use: Knives, Handguns.
  • Can set up a brothel.
  • Cannot charge more than 1K per "event"

Cripz and Bloodz

  • Allowed to mug, steal, and raid
  • Allowed to use: Knives, Handguns, SMG's.
  • Can base.
  • May not raid PD armory.

Specific Rules

  1. RDM is when you kill someone with out a RP Scenario taking place. (Ex. Shooting someone randomly to test a new weapon out)
  2. FailRP is when you do something that typically wouldn't happen in real life. (Ex. Managing to kill yourself while handcuffed)

FiveM General Rules

  - 1.0 Microphone - A microphone is required to join the server. If caught without one you will be kicked and a ban may be issued until you can come on to team speak to prove you have a working microphone. To check if your microphone is working press “n” (which is the default key and check the voice option in the bottom left lights up blue. If it does not try restoring your defaults in settings and try again.
    - 1.1 Trolling - Trolling is not welcome and you will be warned.
    - 1.2 Metagaming - Metagaming is not permitted under any circumstance: stream sniping is included.
    - 1.3 Power Gaming - This involves using either game or roleplay mechanics to alter a situation so it best suits your desires. You must be willing to roleplay a situation to its fullest and not ruin the experience of others.
    - 1.4 AFK - Do not go AFK for periods longer than ten minutes, you will be kicked. Repeated AFK offences may result in a ban.
    - 1.5 RDM - Random Death Match. An interaction with a player must be established before you can kill someone and a valid in character exchange.
    - 1.6 RVDM - Random Vehicle Deathmatch. Randomly running over others is not acceptable and will result in an instant ban. You can run someone over if they pose a threat or you have a sufficient character reason to do so. Police may pit manoeuvre with reason.
    - 1.7 Breaking RP - When in-game, you must never break character unless spoken to by an admin - there are no exceptions.
    - 1.8 Combat logging - Combat Logging will never be tolerated.
    - 1.9 Combat storing - Combat storing to avoid being robbed/arrested is not permitted.
    - 1.10 Chat - Using chat in a disrespectful manner will result in kicks and bans. If you are unhappy with a person, ask them to come to Teamspeak and talk about it with a support member present.
    - 1.11 Visual mods - We do allow visual mods as long as they don’t give you an unfair advantage. (You are allowed map mods that add street names)
    - 1.12 Drugs - No abusing any drugs in game
    - 1.13 NPC Farming - You may not kill NPCs to harvest weapons.

FiveM Character Rules

    - 2.1 Malicious Attacks -  Roleplaying sexual assault (such as non-consensual touching, rape, etc.) is not allowed.
    - 2.2 Value of your Own Life - At all times you must value your life as if it was your last. If you're at a clear disadvantage, for example, a gun pointed to the back of your head whilst you're looking the other direction, you must comply with their demands. If you are outnumbered 3 to 1 you must comply. 
    - 2.3 Valuing Other’s Lives - If a person values their own life, for instance, follows orders when at gunpoint, you may not kill them. If a person is non-cooperative then you do not have to value their life.
    - 2.4 Terrorist - Terrorist roleplay is not acceptable under any circumstance.
    - 2.5 Animal Skins - Animal skins may not be used by anyone other than admins on duty or police that have been permitted to use the dog skins.
    - 2.6 Nudity - Character models with nudity are permitted, but please keep in mind that people do stream. In addition, you can and will be arrested for indecent exposure.
    - 2.7 Impersonation of Emergency Services - Impersonation of Police/EMS/Mechanics/Military is forbidden. You may not use their character models.
    - 2.8 Character Death - In the event of character death/disfigurement, the situation must be agreed upon by both parties involved - unless there is sufficient IC reasoning behind it.
    - 2.9 NLR - New Life Rule. If you are declared dead you cannot return to the situation you were involved in, nor can you partake in it for 15 minutes. You can return with another character but may not get involved. If the situation moves location and you accidentally get caught up in it you must make all efforts to leave. 
    - 2.10 Death Avoidance - Passing money or weapons as you are about to die to save the money is not permitted as it avoids the death system.
    - 2.11  Restraints - If you are in restraints (hands up or police restraints) you must broadcast in the game what you are saying on Teamspeak/group unless your communication devices have been taken. (Take communications by /me takes communication devices.)
    - 2.12 No string robbing players or stores - If you decide to rob a player or group of players in one location, you must wait at least 1 hour before robbing the same player. Going around and robbing every player you see does not benefit the roleplay on the server and if anything, diminishes it. Robbing a player should be well thought out and should be fairly uncommon. String robbing players will not be tolerated. Robbing in a very public location is unrealistic and ruins the experience on the server. Be smart and creative about who and where you rob.

Combat Rules

   - 2.13 /ME Command - You must RP take your weapon out using /me of a bag or car unless it’s a small weapon. Police are allowed to sling a weapon but have to /me taking the weapon from the sling due to not being able to possess a bag. If you are a civilian and you possess a bag you can /me a large weapon from it. If you jump into a vehicle the /me command is reset and you must do this every time you leave a vehicle.

General Faction Rules

    - 4.1 Theft of Emergency Vehicles - The theft of  EMS, Mechanic and Military vehicles is not allowed. (Stealing Police Cars NOT ALLOWED)
    - 4.2 Whitelisting Abuse - Being whitelisted is a privilege that should not be abused. To prevent abuse such as, but not limited to handing out police firearms, reviving friends while an off-duty medic or repairing cars while off duty as a mechanic. 
    - 4.3 Robbing Police  - Due to the balancing of the economy robbing police for equipment such as firearms is not permitted.
    - 4.4 Kidnapping - To kidnap any player (this includes the police), there must be at least 4 officers on-duty. If you are unsure on how many cops are on duty, simply ask in OOC. The police are responsible for not only your roleplay but the roleplay of other players. By kidnapping these individuals you hold up all emergency service personnel taking away from the experience from others. For this reason, any kidnappings on emergency service personnel must be reasonable and considerations of making the situation enjoyable. Nobody wants to be locked in silence whilst taken hostage for long periods of time. 
    - 4.5 Loitering around Emergency Buildings - Loitering around Police Stations, Hospitals, and Mechanic shops without valid roleplay stories are not permitted. 
    - 4.6 Fort Zancudo - Entering the military base is prohibited. This will be considered FailRP as you would not really be able to enter.
- 4.7 Garages - The garages are considered safe zones - vehicles cannot be stolen and people cannot be harmed while they're there. No Illegal activity, Drifting, doing doughnuts or wheelies is also not acceptable. It is also not acceptable to flee from police or other players to “safety”. If this happens to report it, do not follow players into the zone.
    - 4.8 Business Activities - If you own a business, you are subject to higher standards of roleplay. Although you may have worked hard for it, we expect a high level of roleplay.

Police

    - 4.9 Robbing Police  - Due to the balancing of the economy robbing police for equipment such as firearms is not permitted.
    - 4.10 Cop Baiting - Cop baiting is not permitted. Do not purposefully try and get police attention on you by doing things you would not do with an officer near you. This includes but is not limited to; burning out in the middle of intersections, purposefully revving your motor at lights to bait a pullover/chase, purposely committing traffic violations in the vicinity of a police officer.
    - 4.11 Unrealistic Phone Use - Using a phone while in Police custody/Prison is considered failRP - this includes sending messages and tweeting.
    - 4.12 Police Stations - Entering the detention area, roof, offices and locker and the back of Mission Row P.D is strictly prohibited to police and invited guests. Violent acts can take place here as long as you meet these requirements.

EMS

    - 4.12 Unrealistic Revival - When you are revived, you’re in medical custody until a member of EMS releases you. You may not simply run off once revived by a medic. Police will follow you to the hospital and can take firearms from you before you head to the hospital. Once you are revived, you may not jump up and instantly start shooting police again, you were downed and you lost the fight and it’s unrealistic to recover that quickly.
    - 4.13 EMS Kidnap - EMS cannot be kidnapped. You can kill a medic with sufficient reasoning to do so: i.e they refuse to cooperate even when threatened.

Community Guidelines

Community guidelines are what management would like the population of the server to be conducting themselves while in character on the server. While breaking these guidelines on one or two occasions will not get you a ban, an admin may advise you to stop what you are doing and re-read these guidelines. If you continuously break the community guidelines you may receive a ban.

Backstory

DDG and the counties within it should be treated as though it is a bustling city that is full of life and functioning as a part of a first world country. Within the state,**the police will be harsh and will punish you. The emphasis and focus should be on AOP.

Character Building

    - 1.1 Reasonable Name - While names that are a joke are allowed, creating a name that is offensive or makes no sense is not accepted. 
    - 1.2 Traits and characteristics - When creating a character, pick a series of traits to better your roleplay and the people around you
    - 1.3 Unrealistic Character roles - Being a CEO who is a Lawyer who is a Mechanic who is a Gangster is not what we expect. Pick what a style that suits your character and stick to it. Also if you are a hobo, we expect you to be doing hobo activities and not representing someone as a lawyer.  You can create characters who are these different roles but try to build and focus on a select few.

Criminal Story Building

    - 2.1 Building into crime - Whilst we appreciate that criminal activities are fun we ask that you don’t come into the server expecting to commit the serious criminal activities such as robbing the bank from the get-go. Build your way into higher crime and over time. You should attempt to make connections such as joining a gang and working your way into more serious crime
    - 2.2 Wanted Level - Criminals should be mindful of the attention from police their actions may generate. Give time between your crimes for things to cool down. You should expect to get more police attention, longer jail times/fines, and investigations if you repeatedly commit crimes in a small time frame. Unpaid fines will also result in longer sentences.
    - 2.3 Mass Murderer - If a player decides to make a mass murderer and go on a spree the player should expect this type of character to be short-lived and once caught to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. You may be asked to switch your character and make a new one.
    - 2.4 Aim to keep crime hidden - As this is active first world state you should be aiming to keep all crime underground. Continuously broadcasting activities in public are going to create lots of police attention and your time as a criminal will be short-lived. 
    - 2.5 Gangs - Whilst a gang can contain more than 4 members, it should not have more than 4 members online actively being involved in the gang at any one time. 
    - 2.6 Gang Alliances - Gang alliances can be created but avoid creating strong alliances that don’t allow for conflict between gangs.

Griefing

    - 3.1 Do not grief others -  Griefing is the act of intentionally angering or irritating another player with malicious intent. Example: Consistently stalking a player to force RP.

Roleplay Standards

    - 4.1 Roleplay Standards - You must always keep a high level of roleplay standard when playing. We understand that each situation you approach may be different and will apply common sense when enforcing this guideline, however, if you are interacting with someone, the encounter should be enjoyable for both parties. A lack of roleplay in these scenarios promises the opposite and you should be considering the interaction seriously, including the risk versus what potential consequences it could bring to your character down the line.

It's hard for us to outline every phrase that is not acceptable, but as a rule of thumb: "If you think it's not a Roleplay Standard it probably isn't". This rule applies to every situation within the server. The aim here should be for both parties to enjoy themselves, not just to win even though winning can be enjoyment you should always consider the opposing party and your characters.

Driving

    - 5.1 Unrealistic driving - Drive responsibly at all times unless you have adequate reasoning to do otherwise. Driving at speed is not the issue here but excessively passing through traffic and traffic lights is. Drifting around onto wrong lanes is also not acceptable. Attempts at stopping at traffic lights, obeying speed limits, driving in the correct lane, etc, should be made, especially in high population areas. Driving offroad is accepted in realistic forms. Police

Ingame Issues

    - 6.1 Ingame Issues  -If you have any issues about a situation wait until it’s over to talk it out, don't ruin situations because something wrong may have occurred. While admins will try not to interrupt situations they may intervene if the situation has irreversible effects. If you want to dispute a player contact a player and ask them to join the support rooms on Discord where a member of support will help resolve the situation. For compensation, you will require evidence and have to fill out a compensation request on the forums. Modded cars are subject to random removals and not keeping modifications when stored in the garage so are therefore by at your own risk and no compensation will be given out.
